The Western Weed Coordinating Committee (WWCC) is a voluntary organization made up of state and federal agencies, state weed coordinators, NGOs, and many other entities all concerned about invasive species, particularly invasive plant species. The WWCC and its members are dedicated to preventing the introduction and spread of noxious weeds and undesirable plants in the western United States. The committee provides a forum for discussion and resolution of problems, and operates under bylaws established in 1994.
The objectives of the WWCC are to:
WWCC holds an annual meeting every December in Las Vegas, Nevada.
This listserv serves as a tool for members of WWCC to coordinate and communicate activities and issues that are applicable to a diverse group of individuals involved in managing invasive weed control programs. Anyone can post questions or information to the listserv by sending an email to wwcc@listserv.montana.edu.
